Talking Wing removal 05' STI

so i was thinking about getting rid of the wing on my sti and just having a wingless trunk, no emblems as well for that sexy sleeper look. my question is how hard is it to take off the wing?? is it easier to just trade trunks with another wrx?? I honestly have no idea at all so any info would be great!!

Your better off with just swapping for a wingless trunk. Other than that have you looked under your trunk? Really it's not that difficult to take off. Just a few bolts. Then you would have to plug the holes.

since your car is white, you shouldnt have much problem trying to trade or buy a rs trunk, i have grey so its a lil hard(more money), wingless is my goal too.

ya I would reccomend just buying a new wingless trunk cuz there is 10 holes in the trunk if you remove the spoiler, if you plug all the holes I think it's an eye sore but if you can live with it then go for it it's real easy to remove. Plus the plugs may make a spot for water to get in the trunk.
