window off track

Question window off track

whats up fellas? about to get my new tires but now my driver side window is going a bit off track. when i roll it up theres a small crack btween the stripping & the window. something i need someone else to fix or mayb a do it myselfer? let the light shedding bgin. thanks

you could probably fix it yourself, how off track is it? You should just have to pull the door panel off and tighten some things up. You should be able to see the problem once the door panel is off.

its off mayb less than a cm. but the wind noise is driving me crazy. well actually quite a bit less than a cm. but i think i might try 2 yank the panel off this weekend since its gonna b nice out. thanks. anybody else w/ any info feel free to drop the knowledge. thanks

It's very common for the bolts that hold the window motor/regulator assembly to the door to loosen up over time. This can cause the problem you are having, and eventually can cause the holes to become elongated or even tear the door skin. If this is what happened you'll see it when you remove the door panel.

thanks. me & a friend are gonna give it a run & try to fix it today. its been so damn nice out & i keep wantin to roll down the window but hell im not sure if itll go back up. thanks for the info. late
