Where to buy headlight protection film?

Hey all!

Since I just had my headlights wet sanded and polished and I don't anticipate the need for baking my headlights again since they're already painted and held up fine over winter, I would like to protect them w/ some clear-bra or similar clear film. Have any of you guys bought and installed such films on your headlights? Where is the best buy to buy good quality clear film to apply on my headlights? When you search for 'clear 3M film', 'clearbra for headlights' etc., there are a plethora of products and places to buy so I'd like to see if anyone has had experience w/ a certain vendor or product that they'd recommend.

Previously I had clearbra applied to my headlights by a tint shop but I feel I could do this myself for cheaper. I'm looking to do my fog lights as well and I've gotten quotes from 2 tint shops, both for $120 for all 4 lights so I don't think that's a great deal.

Let me know what you'd recommend! Thanks as always

I found this
3M clearbra on Amazon 3M clearbra on Amazon
and a member on the Saab forum recommended Xpel headlight protection film: http://www.xpel.com/products/headlight_protection.asp
The Amazon 3M clearbra is $39 + shipping for a 12"x60" roll
The Xpel film is a kit pre-cut for the Saabaru's headlights and fog lights and is $70 + shipping.

Any thoughts on those or other recommendations?

Xpel is good stuff, I've been using it for years. Have it on my '02 Morettes and OEM fogs, never had one break although there were nicks in the film where stuff hit the lights.

I like the pre-cut from Lamin-X, really thick and easy to apply.

Good suggestion, the headlight and fog light kit is $50 so that's the cheapest of what I've found for pre-cut which I think would be the best way to go. I'll look up some install instructions but I'll prob be going that direction.

got my jdm fog light film from here. Been months and I have not installed it yet *lazy* maybe this might help though. I can't say if they are good or not but I can say they had fast shipping if that's what you're looking for.

PS. I might also have a coupon for free shipping from them. PM me if you want it haha idk if it still works.
