Anybody running some kind of headlight protection? If so, what kind and how's it holding up? My car sits in the hot Kapolei sun all day, every day and I'm tired of having to buff out the headlights every couple of weeks to get rid of the haze. It would also be good to have something to protect against the rocks thrown up by cars and trucks while driving in this area. Thanks.

I have darkened headlight protection film. Been holding up very well and pretty much protects against chips and yellowing.

 

Cool, thanks, I'll check it out. I've heard of Lamin-x, they've been around for a while - I was curious to see if there is anything else that people are using. I get a place called HeadlightArmor when I do a search, but their prices are no better than Lamin-x, maybe I should just stick with the company that's been around.

hey ross! cant say i miss that sizzling kapolei sun-lol. i have this ceramic painted hello kitty bobble head....damn thing started fading shortly after i first started working in kapolei...which made me finally buy a sun shade. anyway, miss seeing your clean car! my coworkers would always tell me "your friends car is always super clean".....lol...everyone who knows me well knows my car is never clean. speaking of, the last time my sti was washed was right before the helluvarides show....and i didnt even wash it-was chads roomate lol...i did wax it myself though the night before the show. and my wrx....ive never washed it in the 4 months ive owned it...lol.

 

Hey DD, I miss seeing you and your car around here. Anyways, I always chuckle when people say that my car is clean... my dad would strongly disagree. When I lived at home, one of my jobs was to wash all the cars every week - every other week was wash and wax. So to my dad's standards, my car is a mess.
