Hey I got the factory alarm with my 05 wrx wagon, but it does a strange thing. About 25% of the time i lock and unlock my car, itll beep to let me know i locked/unlocked. But the other 75 percent the parking lights just flash. Glitch? Has anyone else experienced this?

This is a common problem with the 04s and 05s that use the piezo beeper instead of the horn. A lot of them have failed or become intermittent. Take it back to your dealer and have them check it and replace the beeper.
Here's a link to a long thread on NASIOC about this problem. Print it out and take it with you to the dealer in case they give you a hard time.
