Question Under car neon on a subaru?

Today I saw a black STi with purple under-glow neon. Wondering if it was anybody on here? Thought it was borderline rice and half way, some what, "cool". What are your thoughts as to underglow on a subaru, cool or just keep it on the civic's? BTW it was stock from what I could tell except for dark tint.

In Highschool I had a 94 dodge caravan that I swapped a 3000gt vr4 drive train into and decided to mock the rice boys by putting a big airfoil on it and under body neons on it.
At first I liked it because of how ricy it made it look, but then after I droped the thing and put some decent rims on it... the neons made it work... the fronts and backs didnt make it past winter. so if your thinking about it there are companys that make them out of a bunch of LED's all in a row. These are great because they break alot less often than the neon tubes. The LED's are all diffrent colors so you can change the undercarrage color when ever you get sick of it.
The only bad side about trying to put under carrage lights on a subaru is you will almost always see the tubes because the side skirts on the 'ru dont hang down far enough to cover them.

neon called an "SRT-4" with underbody lights=rice

yesterday I was being an old oldsmobile cutlass with street glow stickers, red neons, and those light up muffler tips. Sadly, I know the kid that owns it and hes a scrawny pale white boy that died his hair black (was red) all emo/punk/cool status. it was pathetic

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you have neon you have to keep them out of sight. That means if coper see's you with neon and says he can see the tubes, it's a fix it ticket. But if the tubes are underbody and not showing your o.k. Anyone else hear of this?

Not thinking of buying but had never seen neon on a suba and thought WOW!!! But in a good way, not rice or poser.

a subaru is meant for offroad use too. If you got glow under your subie you probably arent doing much off road. And you are missing out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its pointless but to each their own. Im just happy i dont have it on mine.

+1...dont be a faaaag!

seriously...underglow lights are retarded, only attract attention from all the idiot ricer crowds and police sometimes, on top of that more than likely you'll hit a speed bump and MAY crack the bulb ESPECIALLY if your car is lowered! so just some food for thought

I loved that little van..
Imagine peoples reactions seeing a van doing a awd drift around a corner middle of summer!
Thats how I got my first 'expeditious driving' ticket.
The best part was I was able to use a manual tranny vr4 gear box. so I had one of those insainly tall sifters between the front seats.. it was great!

Neon on cars, are considered a distraction to other drivers. That is if they are turned on while you are driving. Reguardless of weather you can see them or not.. it just looks like royal ars if they are showing.

some people do absolutly no off road driving, me included, weather it be becaus of geographical limatations (me) or because people dont want to mess up and screw up there car.

as far as calling something stupid because its not your way...... what ever floats your boat (sence a pattern here). Im not going to be offended if I do something I like that some one else dosent and they call me names... I will be (and have been) mad as all heck if you rip something off of my car because you dont like it... Like oh say.... my stock 2.5rs airfoil!!!
