'04 WRX Wagon

When I start my car, the doors lock automatically, and when the car is turned off the doors unlock. I have the stock alarm and keyless system.

I installed a turbo timer. We cut the Green wire with the Black stripe so that I could use the Keyless while the car was running. When the turbo timer counts down and turns off the car, my doors unlock, even though I have used the keyless to lock them.

Has anyone had the same experience? What do I need to do so that my car does not unlock when the engine is shut off? TIA
