Angry Totally wet drivers side floor mat after rain...help

Hi folks.....quick questuion for ya. I'm battling a leak issue. First it was the trunk, now I noticed that when I left the car facing downhill all night in the rain, when I went to drive the next morning, soaking wett drivers side floor mat. Even the carpet underneath was soaked. Any Ideas? has this happened to anyone else? There is no other trace of water in the cabin except for this area. the trunk is a different story. I had the back window re-sealed and its still wett in my trunk, seems like its comming for the trunk seal or perhaps the bolts the hold on the spoiler.....aaarrgghh !!!

Could be the weather stripping on the window. With the way our doors are designed I wouldn't be surprised to see a leak once in a while. The weather stripping isn't always flush with the window =/

Yeah, try the hose-down. But yeah that's kinda odd that it's just the mat and not near the door. Top of windshield? (not likely but maybe). Spilled drink?

No...I just went and looked and it is a lil wet near the door...didnt notice it before. I also saw that the trim molding (if thats what its called) between the roof and door, the rubber strip, has a hole in it, so thats probably my culprit. I wonder how easy it is to rip all that stuff out and redo it. Or should I dab some silicone or something right on the hole?

Can anyone tell me what exactly that trim is called? I want to price it out, but when I called my local Subaru parts dept, the guy wasnt very helpful.

It's weather stripping, and yeah that looks like it's probably the culprit. Silicone would work for a temporary fix, but i'd get it replaced.
