how do you keep your drivers side floor mat down?

My drivers side floor mat seems to always slide around, there is that little piece of crap plastic thing that wedges into a hole in the carpet, but that never seems to do the job, it comes out of place all the time. My floor mat is always going all over the place, any suggestions?

I feel ya on this one! I had carpet mats in my car and it would slide everywhere!! It annoyed me so much I went to subaru and got a new clip hoping that would help. Luckly my buddy was selling his car and he had rubber subaru mats so I traded before he sold it.. They never move!

So rubber mats was my fix to this problem.

I have two sets of mats. So I have one mat(any kind mat will do) on the bottom and then the oem mat on the top. I use two binder clips and clip them together on opposite ends. It works for me and my mats don't get stuck under the pedals at all.

Ima do this.

EVERYTIME I drive.

1) start car
2) seat belt
3) radio
4) adjust floor mat
5) clutch in ready to go

It got so bad the spikes shaved all off and the hook broke. Always been an annoying problem.

what year is your car? There was a set of bad mats that went out, where the spikes broke off the entire bottom of that mat? This is why I velcro'd it to the floor.
