Sticker removal
Call me crazy, but I'm interested in removing the pink STI stickers from my white STI. It just looks way too girly for my tastes, and I think the front end would look a lot cleaner with blank fog covers.
So... any tips on how to do it?

Great Decision, I hate the pink as well.
Get a heat gun or hear dryer and heat up the decals then slowly peel off the sticker with ur fingers.
once they are completly off use some kind of adhesive remover to get off the rest of the left over stickyness.
Then apply wax to the covers.

Hair dryers can stand in for heat gun too. But guys, c'mon now, it's not pink, it's sakura no iro (cherry blossom color). The cherry blossom is a major part of Japanese culture, and STi using its color is a very significant thing. It's a symbol of the pursuit of perfection until death, and was a major symbol for the samurai class before it lost its nobility and admirability. That's just the tip of the iceberg to its significance!

Bestine (or naphtha) is the solvent you need. Just rub it on any sticker, let the sticker absorb it, peel sticker, and then wipe the residue off. It will not damage paint in the least. You can buy this at any home/hardware center(home depot/ lowes, etc.)

removing STI logo's makes baby jesus cry, embrace the proud pink subie heritage. It just makes the ricers be a bit more suprised when we kick their a$$
yes pink might not be the most manly of colors for sti to choose, however taking off the sti badges because you don't like the color is sacreligous, you should have bought an american muscle car if masculinity is your desire. Be confident in your sexuality pink is masculin.

Come on, STi pink isnt girlie. Can you think of any other car manufacturer that has the ***** to use pink on any one of their cars? No. STi pink isnt girlie, its unique. And when anyone questions your manliness for having pink decals on your car, take them for a ride. They will change their mind.
Good info man. ^^^

what use the sandpaper?
dude do not take off the pink(cherry blossom red) stickers(decals),
if they came on the car leave them on, they are pretty cool, and that is what the cars is... but if you have an aftermarket sti parts, that have sti all over them and are driven an rs(like mine) aaah maybe you should, cause it is like a change the emblems on a civic lx to having v-tec, and si all over them. i really should not use handa but every body has seen that one civic, so there you go.

The only way I'd do it is if I were going 100% full stealth...No wing...small scoop...the whole thing...
