i'll see if i can help ya. if there is 2 on the bottom cushiondown towards the floor in the front. if so take them out and then lift up on the on the bottom cushion. you should only come up to a 45 degree angle and it should slid out from under the hook in the back where the seat buckles are. now for the back rest cushion. where your seat belts attach there should be 4 bolts across the bottom. 2 in the center and one on each corner after they are out lift up on the cushion to about the same 45 angle. there are 3 hooks one center and 2 on eigther sides. by lifting up on cushion with the 45 degree movment it should come free. I am merely guessing at this i would assume that subaru would not change something like that for years considering it is a sedan. now if it a wagon im not sure. also if you don't see the 2 bolts on eigther side. it might have clips requiring you to use a screw driver. if they are like that then you want to lift up on eigther corner of the bottom cushion and see how it is attached. I hope this helps you out let me know im curious now.
