I don't have scratches, but you can see that something's causing a "mark on the window.

Right, these scratches are on the exterior, do you think they would be more noticable with the dark contrast of the tint? I'm not sure.

IVBDN- most likely it is the window guides, they keep the window from being loose, they physically touch the window surface. I'm guessing some road dirt or something got in there and me rolling them down caused the scratches. I guess, just keep them clean in the future...I usually roll around with my windows down...when it's not raining (Seattle!) so its ok, just sucks that they are common problems. Haven't heard of any other cars doing this. I thought it was just me, but when a friend bought a 97' LX and had the same thing, i got to thinking...are you listening SOA!

Has anyone tinted their windows after the scratches were noticable? Does the tint make them less or more noticable? Pics would be awesome. Thanks

If we wanna get SOA to listen, we'd all have to put in a complaint. I doubt they'd pay attention to me since I never brought it up and I've had the car since '99. Try it out and see what happens. It couldn't hurt.

the tint on my drivers window is scratched pretty bad. Pisses me off. My damn windows squeek all the time. I'm sure all my windows will be scratched some day.

I have to say I have had some issues that are pissing me off. My car is an 04. It should not be having window problems. My grill is faded to crap and my bumper is yellowing because of heat coming out of the front and the paint totally sucks. Add that on to the 4 mph less I get on average than the average listed by subaru.

Don't get me wrong..I love my car. But this stuff shouldn't be happening already.
