removing trunk key hole, remote opening...
I'm considering removing the keyhole in the back and having a remote pop the trunk.
Is anyone familiar with this... how much it would cost to add that remote feature? can i integrate it to my door opener, etc?.....

Well from being in the collision refinishing I can tell you they will take off the trunk, pop out the cylender, weld in a cover plate, grind it, sand it, repaint, match paint, clear coat, and remount the trunk and then mount up whatever pop system. It will cost quite a bit in just body work.

i'm getting my trunk removed and repainted anyways... so, i figured the extra effort couldn't be that bad? I'm curious how much a remote would be...
