Question Rear window tint probs?

I just got a 2003 Outback Impreza and I'm stoked.
I don't have very many mod plans for it because it's my commuter to the snow and work. I'm not a racer either. I more of a 4x4 enthusiast and like to take my road aggression out on the trails.

Anway, I want to tint my windows and I wasn't sure if the rear window can be tinted with the rear defroster.

Will the defroster melt the tint and make it all bubbly like I've seen? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Sweet! sounds good. I've never owned a newer car either so it's all new to me. All these little options that the outback comes with are amazing to me although normal to many others. haha

Thanks for replying.

oh, and the tint guys should tell you, but I'm telling you now... do not use any window cleaner that contains ammonium because it will cause the tint to peel off or bubble... so no windex

Thanks for the tip RussA. You never know... depending on where I go to get tinted, they may not bother to tell me any caring tips. It's hard to find good help these days.

usually the best thing to do is make your own mixture of soap. Dish soap works best, but that's just my personal experience..

Stoner Brand Invisible Glass is a great product specifically designed for automotive glass. It is a foam product so it doesn't run like liquid spray.

You can read about it on Autogeek.net http://www.autogeek.net/stoninglas.html

I buy the product at Walmart (like 4 bux) so it is pretty accesable and you don't need to order online. I bet even Pepboys, Kragen's or Autozone has it. It is great stuff.
