Okay, I've been dying to shave off my antenna since I bought my 03 WRX. I had been planning on installing a hidden antenna in my headliner (or somewhere similar) but today I had a novel idea. The WRX and STI rear windows should be identical in size and fit, right? The STI has the same rear defroster but the benefit being that the STI glass also has a built in antenna as I recall.

Now does anyone know where and how much it would cost me to install an STI rear window?

It may end up being cheaper for me to just install a hidden antenna but I figured I'd check down this path first.

 

All of the 04 WRX's have the radio antenna in the rear window, so a regular 04/05 WRX rear window will work, too. Just call a dealer or glass installer to see what the installed cost will be.

Wonder if I could trade them my rear window for a discount.
