Rear Window Seperated
Well, after 2 months of going crazy trying to diagnose the source of rattling in the back of my car (96 imp) checking parcel deck, struts, speakers spare tire etc, I finally found the culprit. It appears that due to the twisting of the body (probably due to stiffer springs and driving at an angle up steep garage curbcuts) the lower portion of my rear window had seperated from the frame. For the last 2 months I have listened to this maddening sound. After resealing the window no more rattle. Has any one else had this problem? Thought I'd throw this out since many hace complained of rattling after installing suspension.

I noticed a creaking noise from my rear window going over steep/uneven driveways when it was new (>2000 miles). Went away, until I installed my 20mm RSB. Then I heard it again. Finally, I installed a rear strut brace with very stiff Prodrive/Bilstein suspension and the creak actually went away. I now believe that there is some value to a rear strut bar on most Imprezas.

I had an unidentifiable rattle coming from the passenger side. On a ride the other day, I had my buddy press down near the "Oh Isht!" handle. It seems that there is a loose bolt/screw up above the headliner, probably from my wagon roofrail. I don't know if auto-x or normal driving caused it to come loose, but it is now. Anyone else have this happen?
