putting STi HID's on an '05 WRX
I want to get HID's, and I figure it would be best to try and get the OEM HID's for quality and such. I found someone selling theirs and it comes with Ballasts, Ignitor, Retaining clips, light frames, lights and leveling motors. I realize there's a little bit of work to do, but is there anything else I would need? This is going in an '05 WRX. Just trying to budget myself properly. Thanks

Are you talking about the one on EBay? If it's the one I'm thinking of he posted on NASIOC about a week ago, and never came back to answer people's questions about where he got the lights. This is very suspicious as there wouldn't seem to be a legitimate reason for someone to have just these components without the complete housings.
Another thing to think about is that the reflector housings in the STi are designed specifically for the HIDs, and they are not the same as the standard ones in your WRX even though they may look similar. You will not get ideal results by installing HID bulbs into your existing lights, despite their being the OEM ones from the STi. This is only marginally better than installing an aftermarket HID kit in your lights, and most people who have done that have not had good results- in fact some of them ended up buying the complete STi light assemblies after all.
edit- this one right?

I see he has posted here too.
