putting a WRX/STi hood on a 2.5RS

I have a '05 2.5RS and like the look of the WRX/STi hoods. I'm assuming there shouldn't be any problems with bolting it up. My question is since the 2.5 doesnt have a top mount inter-cooler would there be any problems with water getting in the scoop. I believe there wouldn't be seeing as many WRX/STi guys switch to FMICs.

Bump. Anyone kno if there would be problems with water coming in the scoop and damaging anything under there?

the WRX gets water in there and all is well. you have a big plastic box, they tend to handel water just fine.
just make sure the box is seald nice and tight and you should be fine.
but if the scoop is non functinal you can always get a reverse scoop if your worried about it.
