mechanical vs. electric

whats the difference between mechanical and electric gauges.

electrical gauges have sending units where the mechanical gauges have direct lines. ie. mechanical oil gauges have oil lines going directly into the back of it. electrical gauges don't have any hot pressurized liquid going into your car.

so i guess its better to get electrical right and what about the boost guage

i have had them both

mechanical gave me less problems
electronic were more helpful

you can buy my electrical gauge set up

Boost egt oil temp water temp

425$ with the senders and the upper hose for teh water temp
it has the adaptor you need

i have a mechanical boost gauge. haven't seen a huge difference in the two. that one would be up to you i guess.
