Mechanical speed limiter removed!
I finally got around to buying a real STi hood scoop. For months I was driving around with a replica STi scoop that I had aquired for free from MRT. It was even painted for free too. So it didn't really cost me anything.
But after taking a little trek into the 120MPH range once or twice one corner of the scoop broke and would start to flap in the wind at anything over 90MPH.
BEWARE OF THE REPLICA JUNK.
The scoop is actually fixable and looks good for the most part but it's quality is junk. If anyone wants it, let me know... Other then that it's going out in the trash in a day or two.
