Key Remote won't lock doors
I've got one remote for my 05 wagon and it won't lock the doors. But it does unlock the doors. In other words, i have to lock the doors from the inside whenever i leave.
Anyone else have this issue? Do i need a new remote or battery?

Love the way you've gotten no responses all this time. Well, I've had my mechanic recommend getting a new remote to solve another problem I'm having with my system, so that might be the way to start out for your situation. That would help you determine if it's a problem with your remote's lock button or a problem with the car's receiver getting the lock command. If a new remote solves the problem, you're good, and might consider taking your old remote apart to see if you can clean/repair the problem with your lock button. If a new remote doesn't solve the problem, it's more likely something to do with the receiver in the car, as long as the power lock switches and motors in the car are all working fine.
PS: My problem is that my car sometimes responds to the remote from a fair distance (50 - 100') and other times will not respond until I'm right in front or near the car. This has been a problem for a while now, and it's not consistent, nor does it have anything to do with the batteries in the remotes, because I've changed them regularly, and changing the battery has no effect on the range.
