I have a 05 wrx I can't figure out how to take out the low beams to replace them with brighter ones. Does anybody know how to take them out?

 

The procedure should be in your owners manual. IIRC on the 04/05 you just have to remove the cover behind the low beam to access the bulb.
BTW, what "brighter" bulbs are you planning to install? You should check out this thread first-
