Low Beams Out, Replaced Bulbs -- No Good
I have a 2001 Outback and my 55-watt Sylvania Silvertars blew out today. The fuses in the engine bay are good, I could hear the relays ticking, but the stock bulbs I put back in won't light up. I am pretty sure they're still ok since they were fine before I put the Silvertars, and that was around 8 months ago. The highs are ok as well as the fogs.
Anyone know what's wrong? Could it be the DRL relay or whatever is unerneath the steering wheel column cover?
HELP! I may have to take this to the dealer tomorrow as we need it to take our kid to and from daycare.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah I wish I had gotten that multimeter a couple of weeks ago when I last went to Autozone. You never know when you'll need them. I was thinking of the same thing by buying a bulb tomorrow first thing in the morning; the thing is I am positive that the stock ones are still good since they were working before and I've kept them in the Silverstars' case.

what are you replaceing the flash bulbs (aka silverstars) with?
what area do you live in i think the silverstars can not take cold temps?

It was the startup that killed those Silverstars but the factory ones -- beats me.
