How can I disable low beams when flashing high beams?

Hey everyone, I just would like to know how can I disable my low beams from turning on when I do the flash-to-pass with my high beams. The reason is because I have HIDs installed and I don't want to mess up my ballasts from having the HIDs flash also.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I saw that it was for the 08+ and I have a 2010 2.5i I couldn't find a section for specifically electrical questions.

If your car came from the factory with HID's wouldn't it already have something done to keep this from happening?

My HIDs aren't factory. I also don't know if cars that came with factory HIDs have this. All I know is that Subarus have the low beams flash with the highs.

I would like to know the same question but with the fog lights. I hate how the foglights turn off when you put the highs on. Anyone?

rewire them so they dont use the factory relay. just connect a wire to the battery with an inline 15-20 amp fuse, connect the other end of the wire to the switch, then run a wire from the switch to each fog light. this will allow you to have your foglights on anytime even when the car is off. you just have to remember to turn them off. thats how i have my fogs wired. it cost under $10 for the inline fuse and the switch. or you could use an ignition wire to run to the switch. that would make the foglights turn off when the key is taken out. you could also wire the foglights to your turn signals and then they would be on all the time when the key is in. the there are tons of options on how to wire, its up to you how you would like it wired.

I've tied mine with the parking lights, very easy wiring and it stays on with the parking lights. pretty simple. i found the wiring diagrams on through iwsti helpful.

And stop highbeaming people and drive around them if you got somewhere to be.

I don't high beam people when I'm mad, I high beam when I want to let someone pass at an intersection before me.
