hows the grip with the stock STi pedals...dry or wet, snow or err mud???
on my prelude it was a safety hazard literally...my feet slipped off all the time..i sprung for the Mugen pedals and my feet havent slipped off to this day
if grip is going to be a problem with the stock pedals im getting rid of them for some better ones.....
so let me hear your opinions
TIA

i dont have an STi, but i think my WRX has the same type of padal and ive had no problems so far. there are little rubber o-ring type things attatched to the pedals around the holes that help your shoe grip the pedal.

Depends on the shoes...some slip badly when wet some don't.
I always have a rag under the seat for the pedals/shoes. No sense in having an accident from slippery shoes in pedals.

If your feet are wet they are slick. If the rubber ***** are warn down at all and your feet are wet, even worse. Throw a little sand on there and it is worse. All show no go.
Guess if you have a fairly grippy pair of shoes it might not be like this.

Just checked my pedals and the gas nubs are completly worn to the metal, and same with the right side of the break... For some reason I guess I hit the brake pedal weird because it's only the right side that is worn down.... Can you get replacement pads/nubs or do you have to buy new pedals.... If you have to buy new pedal are they easy to remove or are they a pain in the butt?
Thanks,
-Nigel

replacememt pedals
nigel,
I installed the rex pedals on my 2000 rs. The clutch and brake are only covers with a frame around them, they are a pain to get on right, but they just slip on and off. The gas is attached to a linkage arm to the throttle by a pin that needs to be compressed to get back in (hammer).
