How do you remove the front grill badge?
Hey Guys,
What is the best way to remove the badge from an 04 impreza grille?
I know there are a lot of you who have changed out the badge in the front grille.
I tried to pop it out with a screw driver but started to crack the plastic. Even tried some un-glue with no effect.
Any suggestions?

I was worried about screwing up the plastic around the emblum so i drilled a fiew holes thru the plastic on the back side but not thru the emblum and i put the grill in the oven for a bit to loosen the glue then pushed the emblium off from the inside thru the holes.

i did it the other day. just get a hair dryer or head gun and heat up the back of the grill. then take a really small flat head screw driver and work your way around the emblem. two screwdrivers might be better since you can pry one end and then use the other on to get the other side. also, if you try ot clean off the back of the emblem becareful with what fluids or tools you might use. my experience withe the pink "I" badge was that the pait on the back of the emblem is the same paint you see on the front. i tried scraping the glue off the back of the emblem and ended up taking some paint off, causing me to have some blank spots on my emblem.
