Red face HID problem...HELP!!

So i bought some Hid's from a friend and the problem is that when i turn it on, one of the lights gets brighter and brighter and finally goes out. I turn it off and on agian and it comes right back one. Waited a few secs and the same thing happened...what could be the problem? Would it be the ballest thats messed up or can i juss replace the bulbs?

I had this same problem when I installed an aftermarket HID kit on my 07. If you actually turn your headlights on, they will both turn on and stay on fine. Like they said above, its a DRL issue. Your DRLs arent providing enough power to power both of the HIDs. Just pop your glove box open and disconnect your DRLs and you should be good to go.

Its not hte DRL because i disconnected it way before i got the HID, but i tested my bulbs with my friends HID ( we have the same brand ) and i found out that it wasnt the Bulbs. I think one of the ballest is giving out too much amp so that sucks a lot for me cause i have to get a new set of HID....Thanks though guys..
