Does anyone install kleen wheel dust shield?

Greetings:

Does anyone here install "Kleen wheel" dust shield on your car? If so, what do you think? Does it affect the wheel balance, performance?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Cool

i wouldnt put these on my car. they hold in a lot of heat and could cause some break problems. in my opinion i think they look stupid too. just clean the dust off every week.

No. Just wash your wheels or use good dust free pads.

Thank you all for your advice and most importantly save me some money.

I didn't know that "dust free" brake pad exist. Where can I find such things? May be the dealer?

Are you looking at upgrading your pads? If so, check out the Carbotech Bobcats. Good strong bite and low dusting for an aftermarket pad. Or just look in the Reviews section on this site. As for non dusting pads, I don't think there is such a thing. Low dust is as good as they get.

slvrsubywgn:

Thanks for the tip.

It will be very helpfull for my next brake pad replacement. Since I will perform all major maintenance at the dealer, I don't know if they will accept to install these after market pads. I will ask them when I get to that point.
