DIY headlights, Blackhoused headlights

hey guys I was just wondering if anyone's ever gotten close to the JDM headlight look by doing DIY headlights or black housing w/e you wanna call it. And if so i would just like to see some pics of it. I think I wanna go with black housing because $700 for headlights sound lil too much right now.. i mean I can do something else to the car with taht money

I'd love to have the real one tho

If your talking about "the head light mod" where you take your stock head lights and paint them black inside so they look better, heres the link.

there are a few ways to mod your head light like using differnt color paints and painting different areas in your head light. search aroud a little bit and you will find different pics.

yes I'm talking about blacking out the headlights so it will look like JDM headlights but my question is has anyone else gotten close to looking like the real JDM headlights with this method? most of pics I've seen with blacked out lights seem missing something... pics of your blacked out headlights would be nice. Thank you
