not to be stupid but what will that do for you,is it just for looks, or is it functiuon also. becuase i was thinking of something like that but only if it does a function.

i did the lip, but i did it on my bugeye and didnt have to use foam blocks.. gunna redo it soon tho.. my first one kinda sucks.. found some things that will make it hold up a lil better!

Ah, that sort of reminds me of the "Lip" we'd do on our B13/B14 Nissan 200sx's. I remember a lot of guys were using this floor molding or something to that. The only issue I saw was it seemed to be too flexible.

Yes, it would only be for looks but I aint bashing some good ol DIY Engineering.
