YOu have to use some elbow grease and push them up. FLip the little tab out and you're good to go

You can, but be sure to wrap it with a towel so you don't scratch up that already low quality paint

If anyone wants, I have a set of these clearmarkers, but they require some splicing to work. Fit is not as tight as stock, but I never had porblems with moisture getting in or it coming off. If anyone wants, you can have it for $8 shipped. No scratches or anything. Looks similar to these
