CD player stuck :(

Hey guys

I own a 2002 wrx and just recently I was inserting a CD into the 6 disc CD changer and instead of ejecting it when it isn't compatible or won't play, it got stuck and now everytime I turn the car on, it makes the sound as if it is trying to eject the CD.

Any ideas on what I can do??

I really don't want to have to take it apart, but it may have to come down to that.

Any ideas would be helpful

Thanks

Greg

I encountered the same problem with my Ford truck. The previous owner got a CD stuck inside and never bothered to get it out.

I pulled out the head unit and used two tiny flathead screwdrivers as tweezers to tug the CD out of the slot. It was already cracked and I pulled out 80% of it. I shook the unit upside down a couple times and pulled out a few more fragments. It still works...

i dunno about the stockers, but my aftermarket deck if you hold down the eject button for 3-4 seconds it does a cd reset and it shoots out anythign in the cd slot and resets everything

it may work it may not... cant hurt

Tried that kinda thing. After much toil, I got the CD out but discovered that the eject motor had completely died on me. So I replaced the unit entirely with an aftermarket unit
