Thumbs up Can a **** be a performance mod?!?

I have used the stock ****, okay.
Igot the STI "piston" ti **** and that was okay too, but my short shifter didn't feel all that impresive.
I just installed the Kartboy knuckleball i got from Oakos and I feel like I have a new gearbox!
I know I'm a year late to get on the knuckleball bandwagon but am I the only one to find that this simple looking piece of aluminum is so perfectly shaped and crafted that it thoroughly enhances the STI shifter? I was blown away by the difference in shift throw and engagement. Is this silly? No it's not!
WOW
Not to mention that the darn thing threads right on beautifuly with that slick machined boot holder!

Knuckleball??? They really all that great? Originally I wanted to get the MOMO F-16 cuz of the way it looks...even though all the shiftknob pics online suck...but if it really improves the performance all that much, then it be a much better to get the Kartboy...Anyone else feel the same way about the Knuckleball?

It's a very simple design, all buisiness , no fluff. But it seems alot of thought went into its dimension and weight, it couldn't be just a coincidence. I always wondered if all those posts praising it were just hype. No plastic shims or set screws either, that's a big plus because I see it as more mass to help you shift instead of plastic filler. If no one else replies to your querry, Wutz... , a search will surely show many happy customers.

I love my momo. Just a leather and anodized blue aluminum sphere. Matches my wr blue paint perfectly. Nice and heavy too so it gives the shift a little more heft. Oh yeah, free gift from a friend so extra bonus there. Jeff, YOU DA MAN!!

I agree with Doom, the barb at the bottom of the **** Rocks, but the knuckleball isn't the only **** to have it my Momo air leather/alloy **** is a direct-fit so it has the barb. Check out this thread for pics: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...threadid=26132 I also believe the Prodrive **** has the barb. I really like the way the Prodrives look, but went for the Momo because even though it's aluminum the leather part still makes it easy to shift when it's hot.

Things to look for!

Those ***** SubySal mentioned are right on , that little bit of direct fit engineering can make all the difference in the world then it all becomes a matter of personal feel and preference.Once you find the one that feels right it's amazing what a difference it makes.
