Body work... Subaru dealership or other?

My 03 WRX got rear-ended. A local shop gave an estimate of about $4k which looks about right. Trunk's smashed in pretty good. Is this the sort of thing most people could handle, or should I go to the Subie dealership? (The other party's insurance is paying, but the dealership would be very inconvinient for me, distance-wise).

Thanks

A good paint and body shop is capable of doing most any collision repair on a Subaru. Many Subaru dealerships do not have on-site body shops and would farm out the work, anyway. A reputable body shop will use nothing but genuine Subaru parts.
