blue domelight

I have a 03 wrx. I am looking for a dark blue bulb for the dome light. Anyone know what type of bulb to look for??

If you cannot find a blue bulb for it, there is an alternative. They make little blue rubber/plastic things that you can slide over the existing bulb. It will give it the blue color. You can find these at autozone, advanced, etc.

Actually in the manual of my 03' rex it doesn't tell you some of the bulbs used... example, fog light bulb, side marker light bulbs, dome and map lights...

Does anyone actually have the dome/map bulb number that is used. I would also like to change the color.

Thanks,
-Nigel

If you can't find out......just take one of the ones out of your dome/map light to the store and ask them about it.

on the other hand, the size is 10x31mm and its a 12v 8w unit.

Does anyone know if using 12v 10w will yield just a lower output? or might it put too much excess strain on the wiring?
