Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge

I have all Autometer gauages watching over my baby and on the whole was pretty happy with them until....... To my suprise I pulled out of my driveway yesterday and saw a lovely pool of my motul synthetic oil where my car was parked. This was obviously not the best thing to see at the start of your day. I immediatley looked under the car and then under the hood for a closer look. It turns out that my oil pressure gauge was the problem. (No I didn't install it wrong it's been there for a year and a bit.) The brass pressure reciever was the problem my synthetic oil had been pissing out of it for what I am assuming the previous nights drive. Just a heads up and also to see if anyone else had this problem. I contacted Autometer and because i'm 3 months over the one year warranty I had to buy a new reciever. Well it's fixed now but needless to say i'm not impressed.
