you should put together a list of parts that you used so that we can all learn how to do this from tha masta.
it would be just as easy to do this to the EDM lights, right? i just wouldn't have to dremel the cutoffs i think.
also, from a fellow avid dremeler, can you post a couple pics of your dremel setup? mine is such a POS, you have to have the switch to just the right spot for it to work, and you have to hold the battery a certain way so that it builds up enough RPMs. i'm about this close to buying an air compressor and getting one of those ten million RPM MEGA-dremel jobbies.

Parts / cost list:
Audi A6 Bixenon e-code Projector ~$100
BMW e38 (7-seties) Ballasts ~$150
Phillips 4300K D2S HID bulbs ~$ 80
JDM RHD / EDM Headlights ~$650-1000
Having the first (to my knowledge) Bixenon E-code WRX- Priceless
I was lucky I already had the JDM lights (via Gruppe-s) and the ballasts and bulbs from another project. So all I had to do was find a nice set of projectors.
Sorry dr3d1zzl3 no audio components in this mod
As for the Dremel set up here is what I am using, nothing fancy just a std. kit from Home Depot! The small snake extention is really nice though!
35K RPM max!!!

Kit pic with accs!

And of course the

Just testing the waters
I *may* have another set of JDM projector headlights for sale. These lights have been used ~ 5 months and have been upgraded with a 6oook H1 HID P-N-P kit from HID-Online.
Ballasts- Phillips / Hella
Bulbs - H1 - D2S from phillips

dude its already dark outside. where are the pics!!!!
and if you look closer to the JDM projectors you can see the quality is not as good as the Audi ones. you can see waves in the projector while the Audi one is so SMOOTH and clear. Very nice.

Similar to the Audi headlights, when you move to the sides you get a slight blue, purple color effect. But the light on the ground is pure white. (4300K)
I have a set of 6000K blubs in another set of JDM's and while the light looks great headon, the effective light on the ground was less than ideal. Plus I have to aim those lights way too low for them to be of any use. This is the best trade-off.
