Annoyin Key Scratches...
um, nobody has mentioned this, but what about using touchup paint and then using rubbing compound? If the scratch is way too deep you won't be able to get much out of rubbing compound except taking off the clearcoat and thinning out your paint. The way the JBP, WRB and other multitone metallic paints work, it will look really crappy if you overdo it on the rubbing compound. Better to put a small gob of rubbing compound on it, wait for it to completely dry, then use rubbing compound to get it down near the level of the other paint, and then using polish to get it closer to level. It won't look quite the same but you'll only be able to see it if you're looking at it very closely.
hey u guys thanks a lot for the advice. Wat i finally decided to do was to add a bit of touch up paint to the car. The scratch wasnt that big at all to start off with, about an inch. Wax and polish wouldnt do nething since the scratch was pretty deep, and couldnt wait any longer, so i just fixed it w/ some touch up paint. I wanted to try that rubbing compound that u guys are talking about, but im still a lil confused on how it works and how to use it. Maybe i can add it to the touch up paint to make it less noticeable? Give me any input u guys thanks! P.S. The touch up paint was pretty good, cant see it unless its pointed out, or if someone looks really really close!

get an alarm with a solenoid for the trunk. . .
you'll also be adding the feature of keyless trunk plus you will have added security. plus your suby doesn't have a "chipped" key. all the theif will need is a screwdriver.

O_O good point, man...so many haters out there......but alarms dont even make a difference nowadays? I mean do u guys honestly stop and look to see if a thief is breakin into someone else's car wen an alarm goes off? I dunno, but me, i just go on...thinkin somone must have accidenlty bumped it, or some ricer w/ a loud exhaust passed it by.
