Hi

I have a 98 2.5RS I think some one pull my my OEM spoiler and the two bolts close the the rear windshield popped from the trunk lid. I try to bolt them back on but after looking under the lid only the 2 rear bolts are expose and they are not easy to reach either. It rained really bad these few days and my trunks wet

Does anyone know how to fix the spoiler problem?

 

The other two bolts are under the rubber stops. The two foward holes are for plastic plugs that are attached to the wing. Where is it leaking?

 

Well how frustrating trying to remove the spoiler.

one of the nuts and bolt of the spoiler toward the rear is so rusted that they're attacted together. When I try to loss them they both turn together. I try wd40 and all type of ideas and no luck always turn together. THEN my father had an even dumber idea and use to blow torch trying to lossen the rust but no luck and even worst the paint around that bolt is peeling off.

NOW I have nothing done except made it even worst and a paint job is going to be in the future for the trunk lid.

Now if I bring it to the shop these ****ers will probably cut the rust bolt thats attach to the spoiler and tell me I would need to get a new spoiler.

The only reason I went through all this **** is that the two plastic plugs are off toward the front and also the rusting bolt area is starting to rust too but now this ****ing wing can't come off because of this ****ing rust bolt. NOw I need at least another 2 to $300 on repair. mine as well get a carbon fiber trunk lid without wing
