2004 WRX HID install. Help...
Ok that's the back of my headlight.
- I am using a Catz HID kit H1
What I did was connect the red wire to the HID ballast for signal and left the black one connected. The headlight won't fire.
I was reading that you need to use the black wire for signal, so I tried that and it did not work as well.
Those that have the HID kit installed, what did you do with these two wires? I am at a loss and any help would be greatly appreciated!!

LOL HID kits onto a 2004 WRX...you need to plug in the ballast! Maybe that's the reason it's not working...Did you kit come with a bunch of wires rubberband together? If it did, that's called a "relay". Use the relay to connect the wires from the ballst to the power source from your car....i think. I got a Hanabi 8300K HID kit for my car and the damn thing has to be spliced. Plus I'd get pulled over for having blue headlights..waste of money..should have just BOUGHT THE STi!!!!!
