is there a way to fit the CF RS style hood
onto my L, or am i going to have to change out my headlights

 

Shouldn't be a problem. What year carbon fiber RS hood and what year is your L?

It depends on what year L. If it is '97 or earlier you will have a small gap in the headlights. Everything will still fit and the hood will clear everything in the engine bay, but you will have a small gap.

If it is a '98+ L things should be fine.

EDIT: Just checked your profile and saw that you have a '94, guess that means you'll need new headlights (or not worry so much about the gap).

As you can see, the gap is very small. So, your call on whether you need new headlights (but it looks like new headlights mean new grill otherwise you still have to contend with a gap, but just in a different location).
