Just orgered 36 sq ft of dynamat, i am doing entire truck, and door pannels but, i dont know how to put it, cut it into strips? or what to do to silence doors, i think im going to do 100% over the rear wheel wells. but Im not sure. please help.

 

Rear wheel wells in a truck? Like a pickup truck?

For the doors, take the door panels off, take a sheet cut to the shape of the door, cut holes in it for the window controls, the door handles, and the speaker. and just stick it on. not much different than a giant sticker.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get your Dynamat? I got some for my speakers that I installed in the doors of my Suby, but I have decided that I also want to do the trunk but I don't have enough left over and I need to get more.

 

I spent a fortune to have Dynamat Extreme professionally installed, and I used double the normal ammount of material...makes no noticeable difference to me at all.

MAYBE the Dynapad stuff (foam mat) will make a difference but the dynamat stuff does nothing that I can detect.

If you hadn't already ordered it, I would say go with raamat - wheel wells front and back. Just cut it into strips and slap it on.

Awesome thanks for help. I ordered fromsonic electronix with a discount code it wasnt very expensive. $115 OR Somthing for a ton of it. Ya i have wagon so Im gonna do whole rear end, doors, and under dash, if i have enough left over, im going to put it under carpet in front of front seats, and maybe behind them if i have enough.
