I'm not looking at spending a lot of $$$, but wouldn't mind picking up a new toy. I'm looking for something that would be fun to build and daily drive and just mess around with. Many of you know our family business, so dents, dings, faded paint, accidents are not a major concern for me. In fact, I'd rather find one that was in an accident and just slowly repair it (cheaper/easier for me). The only thing I'm kind of looking for is clean title, clean interior, and that the car runs well. GC's, Bugeye, wagon's, turbo/non-turbo, let me know what you got.

I've pm'd the guy, but still trying to gather some info on it. It seems like a lot of work though......whole front end gone, frame damage, and 3 wheels damaged.
Haha, you and me both. All of those are fine examples, but they're all out of my price range. I probably should've posted this before, but I'm looking at spending under $3k. Stock is preferred too. It's the hunt for new parts that I miss.

i looked at the 2000 2.5 rs.

it is repairable.

it needs:
hood
hood hinges
front bumper
front bumper cover
radiator support
radiator
A/C condenser
both head lights
both marker lights
driver side signal
both fenders
timing cover
driver side timing pully (belt still on, pully damaged though)
driver front strut
driver front lower control arm
driver rear lateral link
driver rear sway bar end link
frame needs to be pulled (subframe does not look damaged)
full set of wheels and tires

 

I have a 2001 forester S that i would let go of...maybe we could work out a price with the volk wheels in the deal???

 

Haha, I actually already have a Forester too. I would love to find a GC that I could fix up, but the one that's being parted out sounds like an expensive one to fix up. If it were a newer model, used parts would be more readily available.
