A good tip- hold the oil pan bolt very well before taking it out. When you unthread the last bit of thread, the oil will rush out like there's no tomorrow. A few times, my clumsy self dropped the bolt in the oil change box. The oil came out too fast and I had to search for the plug AFTER it drained out, hahah.. Not fun..

A lot of people swear by the fumoto oil drain valve, but I haven't seen it in person. Seems like it saves a whole lot of mess.

Also, if your car has the crush washer painted to the bolt, you shouldn't really need to change it. Many people have had no problems with using the same one.

^^ azn it's up to you on what kind of oil u want to run..but i'm down to help if u do it on a day when i'm off..hopefully a sat or sun..lol..if not i can check schedule to drop by..hehe

you should ask rudy to help since he aint got nuttin to do all day..lol


another thing i've had no problems with fram filters...but by any chance anyone have the 02 wrx oem filter ? i'd like to give it a try and see if there's a diff...shoots

haha, you know what's funny i changed mine yesterday, and Mike(aznsensation18) and his gf came today to change theirs...
