i had butterflies the size of mothra vs. godzilla. i only did 2 runs tonight at the kapolei strip with brandon and 2 of his friends. my runs weren't too good cuz i still gotta learn to react faster and improve a lot on my 0-60 ft times and reaction times.

1st run i got:
.554 reaction (lucky)
0-60ft - 2.1 secs
1/8 et - 9.0
1/8mph - 79.1
1/4 - 15.427 @ 43.17 mph (i didn't know where the end of the 1/4 was so i broke way way way too early. that's why i had trap speed of 43 mph, still had the jitters)

2nd run: (terrible launch=bogging)
1.263 reaction
0-60ft - 1.8
1/8 et - 8.698
1/8mph - 79.5
1/4 et - 13.783 @ 97.19 mph

by the way, we saw a silver/silver sti and black/gold sti run 14s. hopefully i can go again next week except i need to buy a helmet. anyone know where i can get a decent one:?

A 1.8 sec 60' is a pretty good launch IMO. Your reaction time doesn't affect the ET.

 

You did much better than me for your first time. My best time was 14.0 and that was my 2nd run. My first run was 14.1. I had 60ft times of 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.9. Good luck and see ya at the track sometime.

i went last night and finally went 13.1(last time was 13.4), hopefully next time i go i can do alittle better- was surprised that not too many suby's were there, i saw a silver one when i was leaving and that was it.

holy crap how did you get a 13.1? how do u launch? i think i'm slipping too much cuz i can smell my clutch after the runs.

 

upgraded parts, that smell heh dont worry about it and launching you'll get it down the more u practice.
