Like an EJ20 it doesn't take much to turn a 1.8t into a monster. giac chip, downpipe, intercooler... All of a sudden you have a pretty quick car that should pull off 13's on some sticky tires.

I'd be happy to race this VW at the 1/4 mile or SCCA Track! As the other post says, does he care to add the element of $$$$ to make it interesting?

ok. i talked to my co-worker about the guy with the jetta 1.8t, she said that he said his car is in the shop right now. she said that he probably would race for money and was asking me how much a race. so to the wrx owner's that wanted to race for $$$ let me now.
