I've got 5w-30 in my engine now. Engine runs really smooth. IT took me from MN to GA and only cost $6/qt. From the sites I read on oil, it has the highest rating of any.
I also am running 75w-90 in my tranny and rear diff. I noticed that I am able to get my rear end out an d around sinceI changed out the read diff oil, however I'm not sure about the tranny since I jacked my synchros for 4th gear. Seems to run smooth, and tranny noise is reduced from the stock gear oil.

I use it and it is very good... go to the corvette clinic on ward next to the shell station....the guys name is chuck and he is really cool and hooked me up with tranny flush and oil change/filter for around $100.... 0-30 wt is really slippery... I noticed my car spools up faster and I get better gas mileage after switching!
