Who was it that was stationed at Kadena air base or lived on okinawa outside the base? I forgot the name of the person and I had a few questions since I'm going to be stationed there. And yes....it's regarding having a car there...specifically a jdm impreza

- how strict are they with mods on base/off base
- what kind of stuff can I get away with?
etc.

Since I'm used to california smog/profiling I have an idea how to be discrete with my mods and not be hassled. JW if its the same in okinawa or what I should expect.

 

After reading this tread, I wanted to know were Kadena Air Force Base was located. I typed "Kadena" into google search but I pushed the "image search" instead of the "map search."

if i recall alexis moved to kadena with his sti...im not sure if he still visits the forums, but he was able to solve most of his problems with taking the car over there..

yeah im at sheppard until about july then i grad and go to kadena. I'm active duty as well. I saw someone around here got stationed there and he bought an S15...or maybe he went to yokota..not sure lol.

Yokota is next to Fussa-shi (main gate). I spent 10 years there. I spent four months at Kadena Air Force Base (NCO Academy). Yokohama isn't even close to Yokota. It's close to Yokosuka (Naval Base).
