Anyone recently been to tahoe?

how's the snow?

I know the resorts have only a couple of lifts open...just wondering if it's worth going up this weekend.

thanks.

last friday - no snow at all! Heavenly was open with 4-5 runs at the gondola site with $50 tix and machine-made snow.

There still isn't much coverage from what I could see driving to work this morning.

I think the only places open are heavily relying on snowmakers. This last weekend was supposed to be a big dump, but its turning out to be pretty mild.

i work at Any mountain and we call to check up on snow reports daily, and there should be 3-4 up at northstar right now. i think you'll be good if yuo hit it before the snow melts and i think there is supposed to be a storm this weekend

Yahoo weather indicates no snow this weekend either.

Just checked out heavenly, Kirkwood, and Northstar sites. Not much.

I'm thinking this weekend is a no-go.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Heavenly doesnt suck man. Its the best lake view from any resort. But the terrain parks arent that great and their halfpipe sucks.

My buddy went up to northstar today. I will talk to him and find out how it was.

Heavenly is always too crowded IMO.

But then again, the only resort I don't think is crowded is Sierra during a snowstorm

Im not saying one place is better than another homeboy. I like kirkwood too. Just saying heavenly has some tight views that kirkwood would never have of the lake. Thats all i was saying. Relax.

Tahoe is dope in general. Any baller wouldnt hate on another tahoe resort. Tahoe is the place to be.

hahahaha
