Where should I go to get a good car alarm?

Special T does all that. The brain is as far up as possible and they wrap ALL wires so its impossible for someone in the know to locate them. They do awesome work, not that Island Sound doesnt.

make sure all connections are soldered too. i got mine from PATS. every little detail counts. like off the battery they added plastic guide bends inaddition to the split loom and tape to keep the wires from crimping or twisting.

are there components that work with the stock suby alarm? I know someone was talking about that a while ago, but I can't find it. I think it's like a codeAlarm or something like that.

i say clifford id the best to go but like acarguy said stay away from the matrix (rebadged viper) i would say at least a 7000ig since it has dual piont imobilisation(sp?) i.e it has starter and ignition cut

a starter cut is worthless on a standard transmission I found this out the hard way last year when my civic got stolen. all they have to do is throw power to car, break the steering wheel lock and push start the car. go with a fuel pump cut or injector cut thats your best bet. also make sure you choose your a place with a good rep to install your alarm its to easy to code another remote to your system and to sell it to someone with your address.

thats it has an ignition cut too the relay for the 7000 is onbaord and its normally closed bt when the alarm goes off it opens and stays open even when power is disconected untill you disarm it with the remote
